After a large number of votes were cast, Splintered still won by a huge margin. Thanks to all who voted. The book is at the published. It’ll be a few months until it’s ready to come out. I’ll give plenty of notice. I invite everyone who has not read Asunder, A Novel of the Civil War, to get a copy. It’s at Amazon, at BandN.com and at Outskirts Press. Other providers have picked it up, too. It’s featured at Bookpeople in Austin on Lamar near Sixth street. It’s on the shelf at Half Price Books on North Lamar in Austin. If you’d like a signed copy, contact me at curt@curtlocklearauthor.com and I’ll work out a way to send you one.
Plenty of action and romance. Unforgettable characters. It will leave you yearning for more. Watch for several exciting announcements coming soon.

I loved the book. However, had I known it was the first of a trilogy, which I don’t recall being indicated on Amazon, I doubt I would have read it. I don’t like cliffhangers and particularly those that have long lapses between them.
Connie A Fall says
I apologize, Mr. Locklear. I looked at the details of Asunder again and see that it does say it’s the first of a trilogy. I guess I got so engrossed in the story and the characters, that the fact if it being the first of a trilogy left my mind completely.
Curt Locklear says
Hang on, Connie, the second book comes out in a few months. Kind of like Game of Thrones. I’m glad you got enthralled with the characters. So many people tell me that. I hope you are doing well.
Thanks for your comments.
Very best wishes.
Curt
